Since 2019, Gujarati Samaj NRW has been bringing together Gujarati families across North Rhine-Westphalia. What started as a conversation between two people during Navratri has grown into a vibrant community of 2,000+ members who share, celebrate, and preserve our beautiful culture.
Our Journey
The Story of Gujarati Samaj NRW
Two members of the Gujarati community first met during the Navaratri celebrations in Hilden, where they discovered their shared passion for promoting Gujarati culture and traditions in Germany. Motivated by this vision, they decided to establish a platform to bring the community together through cultural events. Their first event was a Holi celebration in 2019, marking the beginning of a vibrant journey. Since then, they have successfully organized more than 50 events, fostering unity, cultural pride, and a strong sense of community among Gujaratis in NRW.
